The French fashion house has recently been in the business of downsizing – it's bags, that is. Picking seven heritage models for the Nano collection (Speedy, Alma, Lockit, Noé, Pallas, Turenne and W), the people's favourites will soon be available in micro versions ideal for toting around the bare minimum.
Set to launch this summer, size will be the only change when it comes to the miniature versions of the bags, as each of the seven models reprise the exact shape, construction and stitching of their original, larger counterparts.
With the rise and rise of the petite purse – like the brand's own Petite Malle and Celine's Nano Luggage – showing no signs of slowing down, a micro shoulder bag is the perfect hands-free alternative to the clutch, and Louis Vuitton presents us with seven new reasons to consider ditching the carry-all tote and going micro.
The Nano collection launches 8 July. The eighth model, Dora, will join the collection come February 2016.
