You know her trademark gap-toothed smirk, her killer bombshell exuberance and, of course, her sultry campaigns that range from Tom Ford to #MyCalvins (who can ever forget the Lara Stone lying shirtless in the Biebs' cradle?). Now, the impossibly stunning supermodel is attaching an extra hyphenate to her title as a designer.
Collaborating with fashion’s favourite denim label, Lara Stone joins forces with founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson for a nine-piece collection that would look effortlessly cool in any given street style shot. Denim essentials in the form of high-waisted jeans, inky skinnies and frayed cutoffs are given Stone’s preferred dirty washes; an olive bomber and slouchy hoodie are scrawled with a so-right-now gothic typeface; while a relaxed sweatshirt is saturated in bright orange as a nod to her Dutch roots. Exuding a sporty-chic lustre, it’s a collection made to gloriously fit the archetypal model off-duty ensemble.
“I think my personal style is quite simple,” declares Stone of her nonchalant selections. “I’m usually happiest in some jeans and a hoodie, and that’s what I brought to the collection. I feel the collection is the perfect blend of irreverent cool and subtle patriotism to my Dutch roots!”
