Even if the name Jean-Paul Goude rings no bells, chances are, you’ve seen some of his work. The epochal Grace Jones image that inspired Kim Kardashian’s Break The Internet cover for Paper magazine was conceived by the one and only Goude. And now he’s taken the wheel behind the recently announced Kenzo x H&M campaign. Set to debut on 17 October before the collection drops in over 250 selected H&M stores worldwide, the imagery will also be released online on 3 November.
The campaign features seven diverse personalities and spearheads — It-girl Chloë Sevigny, supermodel Iman, actress Rosario Dawson, Chance the Rapper, Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, Vietnamese rapper Suboi, and teen environmental activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez. Keep your eyes peeled for Goude’s work as it rolls out on billboards and in print.
