Launching soon: What to expect from Kate Spade's new Broome Street label
A line of casual, everyday wear, infused with Kate Spade's signature brand of flirty femininity

With its Kate Spade New York and Madison Avenue lines, this American label has established itself as the go-to brand for kittenish elegance. Walk into a Kate Spade store and you'll be greeted with flouncy frocks and flirtatious tops, all enlivened with punchy prints. But launching this spring, the new Broome Street label — the younger sister to the former two — will be adding understated casualwear to the sartorial canon.

The moniker of the off-shoot celebrates the location of Kate Spade's first boutique in Soho, New York, nestled within a line-up of stores that boast the leading purveyors of laidback cool. Think: Acne Studios, Alexander Wang and Iro, amongst others. It's only befitting then, that the brand's new foray into easy-going everyday wear, encapsulates the quintessential New Yorker insouciance.

Look forward to shopping the Broome Street label's fuss-free statement jumpers, chambray dresses, and colour-blocked Oxford shirts — all you have to do is mix-and-match to formulate a personal recipe for instant chic.

The Broome Street label will be available at select Kate Spade New York boutiques and online here
