Kate Hudson and Michael Kors join forces to stop world hunger
Started with the goal to end world hunger, the American designer's 'Watch Hunger Stop' campaign has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2013. Between the sales of his specially designed Michael Kors 100 Series watch, which directly benefits children through the World Food Program (WFP), and his most recent #WatchHungerStop social media campaign in 2014, Kors has helped to deliver over 100 million meals to hungry children around the world.
Now, Kors has joined forces with Hollywood actress Kate Hudson to increase awareness for his charity. "I'm proud to join Michael Kors in this global effort to end hunger," said Hudson. "As a mother, I can't think of anything more important than raising a healthy and educated generation of children, and WFP's School Meals Program is committed to exactly that. This is a cause that I'm eager to be a part of because I believe we can all make a real and significant difference."
In addition to raising the profile of the charity, Hudson and Kors are collaborating on an exclusive project out in October. The pair are launching two limited-edition styles of the Bradshaw watch as part of the Watch Hunger Stop campaign. Named the Bradshaw 100, every sale of the exclusive timepiece will contribute to the provision of meals for school children. Now, that's one good cause that we can all get behind.
Retailing at $489, the Bradshaw 100 watches will be available exclusively in Michael Kors stores worldwide.
