The Roc Nation artist that had us playing his G.O.M.D track on loop teams up with the Swiss leather maker for a collaboration fit for the wild
Renowned for crafting the hiking boots worn by Tenzing Norgay on his Mount Everest expedition alongside Sir Edmund Hilary, it's safe to say that Bally's expertise has been tried and tested. For their latest collaboration, the brand has roped in hip hop recording artist J. Cole to create a pair of hiking boots and backpack fit the for the urban explorer.
The hiking boots are available in leather, suede and exotic python in a variety of shades such as cherry, mustard and tan, while the water-resistant backpack comes in black and light moss. "I always had an interest in what goes into designing footwear. Fortunately, the opportunity presented itself and I got the chance to work with such a well-respected brand with a long history of making product of the highest quality," said J. Cole. "When I learned more about the company's past and was able to see their archives of boots going back over a 100 years, it excited me even more."
In a short film captured by producer BBGUN, J.Cole embarks on anadventure to the Blue Mountains of Jamaica and goes off the grid with the collection's hiking boots and backpack as his trusty companions.
