Watch: David Beckham and Kevin Hart go on a road trip
Yet again, David Beckham has returned for another charmingly pleasing H&M video campaign — but sorry ladies, Becks isn't running around Los Angeles in briefs. Rather, he's continuing his budding bromance with pint-sized comedian Kevin Hart. Directed once again by Fredrik Bond, Beckham and Hart picked up where they left off last year. This time, it's a road trip journey full of shenanigans and mishaps in the desert.
"I loved shooting the first campaign with Kevin for H&M so much, we just had to do a sequel," said Beckham in a statement for the campaign. "We've pushed the story even further. I hope everyone likes it, we certainly enjoyed filming it." And Kevin Hart quipped in, "It's great to have the opportunity once more to show the world what everyone really knows, that I am the true inspiration for David Beckham's style. He copies everything from me."
Decked in H&M's autumn/winter 2016 Modern Essentials throughout, both Beckham and Hart sported a zip-up flying jacket trimmed with a fax fur collar and a block stripe knit sweater. The collection is handpicked by Beckham himself, and reflecting the urban Brit icon's personal style, the pieces are both masculine and sharp. A precise colour palette of grey, navy and camel sets the understated mood that sees the menswear classics undertake an autumn update with knits and wool blends.
"I had such a great time putting together the looks for this autumn's Modern Essentials collection at H&M. I love the sweatshirts and the wool blend blazer that's like a fresh update on a true menswear classic," stated David Beckham. Now that our season's staples are settled, the only question we have is: When is the Beckham-Hart duo officially dropping an entire film?
The autumn/winter 2016 Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham collection will be available in all H&M stores on 29 September.
