The actress, baker and lifestyle guru now adds designer to her repertoire with two capsule lines created with Amour Vert and Sam & Lavi
Much envied for her style on the now defunct Gossip Girl, Blake Lively has parlayed her 'It' girl status into a high-profile marriage to Ryan Reynolds and a lifestyle site preserve.us. Now it looks like Lively has decided to branch out into clothing design as well, co-designing lines with the eco-conscious-brand Amour Vert and print-heavy label Sam & Lavi. Unlike fellow actress-turned-lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow, who also features exclusive capsule collections with brands like Frame and Loeffler Randall on her website Goop.com, Lively claims to be involved in the design process.
On her Instagram account, she wrote, "I may not be able to draw worth a lock, but I'm proud of this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert for @preserve_us." Later on, the actress posted a picture of herself in a different, palm-printed dress noting that she "co-designed this collection with the trusty Sam & Lavi."
