Every year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) honours the tastemakers of the fashion industry. Anyone from designers — newcomers or otherwise — style icons and brands are given recognition for their game-changing contributions.

Just last night, movers and shakers the likes of shoe designer Paul Andrew
(Swarovski Award for Accessory Design), Gucci's Alessandro Michele (International Award), and industry veterans Marc Jacobs (Womenswear Designer of the Year) and Donna Karan (The Founder's Award in Honour of Eleanor Lambert) took home the silver statues of 2016. Stunning in a sleek Givenchy suit was Beyoncé, who nabbed this year's Fashion Icon Award, while attendees Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jourdan Dunn, Alexa Chung, Ciara and more worked the pink carpet in their evening best.
