With the screening of Bruno Dumont's comedy, Slack Bay (Ma Loute), the red carpet came alive with old school Hollywood glam — that is, intricately embellished, and show-stoppingly gorgeous, gowns. Case in point: Aishwarya Rai wearing a stunning sequined dress by Kuwaiti designer, Ali Younes. Blake Lively channeled Cinderella and looked an absolute dream in the duck-egg blue hue; the appliquéd flowers adding a touch of the ethereal. For the premiere of I, Daniel Black (Moi, Daniel Black), Lily Rose Depp caught the spotlight in her embellished Chanel frock. And adding a splash of the colour to the line-up, Cheryl Cole stepped out in a vibrant embroidered number by Naeem Khan.
