Get ready for a new addition to the menswear calendar.
Earlier this year, the CFDA announced that New York will have its own fashion week solely dedicated to menswear. In the past, menswear labels have shown their collections as part of the womenswear-centric New York Fashion Week held every February and September.
Slated for 13 to 16 July 2015, the lineup for the inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men's apparently includes Michael Kors, Todd Snyder, Rag & Bone, Public School, Billy Reid and Timo Weiland. Adding to the already impressive tally of American brands, Tommy Hilfiger has just comfirmed his participation and will showcase the men's spring/summer 2016 collection in New York on top of presenting in London.
"Menswear has evolved tremendously over the past 30 years, and I look forward to continue supporting men's fashion in both cities this season," said Tommy Hilfiger. "I am excited to have the platform to bring a greater spotlight to our men's tailored and underwear collections."
