9.30am: "Showered, packed, checked out and am down in the lobby before anyone else —only because this is the last day of this phenomenal programme and there is still so much ahead of me."
11am: "Last day to make it count so it's going to be showroom appointments back-to-back!"
12.30pm: "Lunch at The Strand. Tick."
2.30pm: "Foolin' around with fellow Fashion Futures fighter Sabrina Goh. Last day vibes."
5pm: "All boxes ticked which means I can now pop by some of my favourite shopping stops in NY: Opening Ceremony, Kirna Zabete, Helmut Lang, Odin and Barney's. Somebody stop me!"
8pm: "As the cab to JFK drives off, I take one last long look at Ludlow St, my home for the past week."
10pm: "Boarding for JFK-LHR-SIN. The first time I set foot in New York was back in 2007, right after I quit lawyering but hadn't quite figured out what would come next. In no small way, that trip sharpened my sense of curiosity for more, and months later, I packed my bags for London and never looked back. Eight years and five trips later, and the city still means so much to me."
"Thank you CFDA, thank you Singapore Fashion Week, thank you SPRING Singapore, and thank you Buro Singapore for getting behind me. The best is yet to be!"
