Buro exclusive: Day 4 of the Fashion Futures programme with Priscilla Shunmugam
Learning the ropes
10.30am: "Spending a morning with Prabal is the best kind of breakfast possible. So engaging, so honest and so right now."
11.30am: "Falling in love with Prabal Gurung's Resort 2016."
12pm: "Here in the hallway of the CFDA Fashion Incubator on a personal tour with Sacha Brown, senior manager of Professional Development."
1pm: "Lunch at Koi hosted by the CFDA team — proving that fashion has good taste in food too! If you're ever here, do not skip the Miso Black Cod."
3pm: "Got caught out in the rain but I'm here at The New York Embroidery Company — one of the many factories supported under the CFDA Fashion Manufacturing Initiative. My ponytail is drenched, my makeup is running and I'm top to toe with splatters but I am in this room with all these friends and I am crazy happy!
4.30pm: "Heading to the Harper's Bazaar office on the 25th floor of Hearst Tower. Yup, even I can't believe this!"
4.45pm: "There is a lot that we can't photograph here but I was given the clear to show just how much time, effort and care goes into researching every Harper's Bazaar issue."
5.30pm: "Making our way to dinner with CFDA's Steven Kolb and Adam Roth where I'll sit next to Steven himself and pick his brains on contemporary womenswear, pricing and Public School. Just trying to take it all in..."
