The collection: The question with Miuccia Prada is as always, where should one begin? A brief liason with '60s geometrical prints and '70s boyish, boxy cuts infused with glen plaid in working class greys kicked off the show. It then progressed into sheer dresses layered over gingham, but unlike Prada SS16, those dresses were anything but sleek — its exagerrated sleeves and ruffling resembled girls' nighties. Tablecloth skirts, tessallated diamond leather jackets, fur stoles draped nonchalantly over a shoulder and exaggerated lapels were next.

Something you might have missed: Pantless ensembles with those sheer dresses lopped over, barely concealing the gingham undies the models wore (look 32). A Lolita moment, perhaps?

Favourite accessories: The ballet flats with mismatched wraparound gingham ankle straps, leather buckles and dangling charms. Only Miu Miu's version of the classic footwear staple could translate into something so Instagrammable. Also, let's not forget the cheeky racoon tails dangling by the hips. Ace.

Wishlist worthy: Up till last night, Acne Studios' leather jackets were our holy grail. Now, we'll go for the oversized, black beauty in look 22 in a heartbeat. The lack of hardware, giant lapels and contrasting white and red collar seals the deal for us.

Favourite ensemble: Look 35. The sleeveless sheer dress with sequined 'seashells' over a mesh polo and gingham button-down, paired with sports socks and lace-up boots. Nevermind that we'll have nowhere to go in that, the satisfaction of wearing it is good enough.
