COACH 1941: PLAYFUL PUNK REBELLION
The inspiration: Stuart Vevers created a playful version of the biker gang with notions of cult culture — expressing individuality while taking style points from New York's punk movement.
The collection: Varsity and bomber jackets with edgy yet cartoonish embroidery (look 16) and biker leather jackets with graffiti (look 25) were the standout pieces. Flight-inspired jackets and parkas with leather fringes (looks 27 & 28) and rose printed jackets and trousers (looks 33 and 34) brought out a feminine vein within the punkish collection. American artist Gary Baseman returns with his second collaboration with Coach (his first Buster Le Fauve for SS15) to create custom-painted prints for the collection — namely, the yellow smiley faces with fangs (looks 9 & 32) and cartoonish skulls on jackets (looks 13 & 15) and leather bags.
See now, buy now: The printed t-shirts, 'spray painted' moto jackets and tote bags by Baseman are now available on Coach.com.
Front row: Celebrities such as Creed actor Michael B. Jordan, The Hunger Games star Sam Claflin and supermodel Kate Moss were all in attendance.

SONGZIO: STROKES OF PAINT
The inspiration: Acclaimed South Korean designer Zio Song was inspired by his own artworks, where he visualised his ideas on canvas using oil paints, which was then translated into printed textiles.
The collection: Tailored suiting with paintbrush strokes was the main focus of the collection. Hues of ultramarine blue to aquamarine defined his colour palette for this season. Wide-cut pleated shorts (look 8), a sleeveless suit jacket (look 11), and sheer cardigans and shirts (looks 16, 18 & 27) created a soft, fluid silhouette in the collection that stayed true to the designer's modernist aesthetic.
Womenswear: An eight-piece womenswear capsule collection was presented, consisting of innovative knitwear, a cotton-stretch jacket with vertical stroke embroidery and sharp suits. All to be available exclusively on Couturissimo.com come July.
