Last season, Riccardo Tisci cast his net far and wide and reached for a menswear collection that, beyond the graphic artistry and glinting studs, seeked to embody the conviction for freedom. Shades of Morocco tinged the sharply tailored offering while Botswana Renegades (the heavy metal lovers of Africa) brought forth a slew of studded leathers.
Whatever his influences, dark or delicate, in the hands of a designer that's known for his wicked ready-to-wear collections — and not to mention, Givenchy's re-instated haute couture selection — it will surely, and only can be, unapologetically badass.
For your first look at the Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci men's spring/summer 2017 collection, watch it on Buro at 12.00am Singapore time on 25 June.
