Last season, Christopher Bailey proved that gentlemen could do lace — delicate, airy and cleverly contrasted with classic British tailoring. Think guipure layered under heritage trenches and serving as unprecedented detailing to smart camel coats.

For fall/winter 2016, the designer hints at diversifying the house's outerwear — and strong suit — with inspiration from a different source: Military aviation. To see the sketch of the MA-1 flight bomber jacket in the cover image come to live, catch the Burberry show at 9:00pm and, at the very least, mellow out to a guaranteed medley of soulful tunes.
