Falling squarely into the upper echelons of luxury, Berluti shoes are a bastion of craftsmanship and design. For fall/winter 2015, it introduces the Alessio — a revisit of the classic Alessandro design (a mainstay of the company since 1895) but reworked into a more casual shape suitable for this day and age.
Crafted entirely out of one piece of leather, the upper in the Alessio is molded without any panels, seams or inserts; giving it a clean, fluid line. For comfort, the usual leather soles have been replaced with layers of rubber, leather and Micro — a supple high-tech material borrowed from the world of sports. What results is an extremely lightweight and versatile lace-up for the modern gentleman. Like its predecessors, it's bound to be a contemporary classic.
