New and improved: Converse launches Chuck Taylor All Star II
Loyal fans of the beloved classic Chuck Taylor All Star listen up: Converse has released a new and improved adaption of their iconic sneakers. Called the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II, these next generation kicks boast an all-rounded innovative comfort technology and premium materials.
The Chuck II is designed and built with enhanced features such as the Nike Lunarlon sockliner for full foot cushioning and arch support, foam padded collar and non-slip gusseted tongue for added comfort and a perforated micro suede liner for all-day breathability.
Constructed in premium canvas, the revamped model is elevated with a fully embroidered All Star patch, high foxing and monochrome matte eyelets. Available in white, black, red and blue, the sneakers retail for $99 (ox) and $109.90 (hi-top).
"The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II is a sneaker that started with one simple notion: obsession," said Richard Copcutt, Vice President and General Manager of Converse All Star. "We listened and took it to heart that people love their Chucks and want sneakers that are built to enable them to do more. The Chuck II is the full expression of this consumer obsession, staying true to the DNA of the original."
The Chuck Taylor All Star II launches in selected Converse stores (Ion Orchard, Ngee Ann City, Capitol Piazza, Nex, Vivocity), Limited Edition Vault, Surrender and the brand's e-commerce site tomorrow.
