The influx of sports and fashion brands collaborating have spawned many a pair of covetable sneakers, and the latest tie up sees Alexander McQueen's diffusion line tapping on Puma's sporting expertise for a performance boost. The footwear collab features the protective structures commonly utlised in extreme sports, and borrows its aesthetic from McQ's gothic design code.
Two different pairs of sneakers are available in the drop — the Cell Mid model fuses ponyskin without forgoing a breathable upper, includes a leather insock for convenience and fastens with an adjustable plastic buckle.
The second pair on the other hand, is a redesign of the Puma Disc, sporting leather panels and a white speckled outsole. The highlight of the model's upgrade? The retro translucent fastening dial on the tongue of the shoe — its now the perfect pair of sneakers to anchor top-to-toe denim ensembles straight out of the '90s.
The McQ x Puma sneaker collaboration launches mid February at Limited Edt and Leftfoot boutiques.
