Celebrating a hundred years in Hollywood, Salvatore Ferragamo updated its iconic shoe designs with an explosive capsule collection designed by Edgardo Osorio that playfully reimagined the brand's classics from the 1930s, 40's and 50's.
Encapsulating Ferragamo's love for eccentricity, classics the likes of rainbow wedges, polka dot pumps and winged stilettos — some of which were originally designed for Hollywood legends such as Mae West, Joan Crawford and Marilyn Monroe — have been remixed into divinely luxurious combinations (think: Rainbow feathered heels). The result? Fiery footwear that balances refined European elegance, American sensibility, and a sultry Latin flair.
"This collaboration is particularly dear to me as it marks 10 years since I first joined Ferragamo at just 19 years old, my first job in the world of luxury footwear," said Osorio, who dropped out of London College of Fashion to join Ferragamo as a shoes and accessories designer.
The collection is featured on Salvatore Ferragamo's minisite.
