Carrie K. has a new home at the National Design Centre
Come and play
Carrie K. is inviting one and all to traipse down to their soon-to-launch pop-up atelier for a playful storytelling venture with artisanal jewellery. Relocating to Keepers at the National Design Centre, the brand's new space sits pretty at the heart of Singapore's design community where fresh inspirations are abound.
Fittingly-themed 'Playtime', visitors will find the artfully staged pop-up atelier to be a fresh outlook reflecting brand founder Carolyn Kan's motto to 'sprinkle some playfulness into people's lives'. Featuring talks, exhibitions and retail that includes best-sellers such as the Heavy Mettle, Charmed, Reborn and Odyssey series, the upcoming ready-to-wear collection for the festive season will also go on display. Additionally, the label is opening up their workshop to the crowds, allowing the public a glimpse into their design process to encourage the growing interest in jewellery artisanship.
For those interested in forging a special article of finery that commemorates a significant occasion in their lives, Carrie K.'s craftsman will be taking up residence at the pop-up to co-design your unique piece with you. With Christmas festivities soon to descend upon us, there is no better gift to give than a meaningful piece of finely crafted bespoke jewellery.
The Carrie K. Atelier pop-up in Keepers at National Design Centre will run from 26 November 2015 till 10 January 2016.
