Social media scoop: Behind the scenes at Paris Fashion Week
Au revoir, mon amour
1. The one-stop centre
The choice cafè for the creme de la creme in Paris? Cafè de Flore. Located on the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Benoît, it's long known to be the spot to people-watch some of the most glamorous of visitors such as Irina Shayk and Hailey Baldwin.
2. Food, glorious food
What's a trip to Paris without sampling some of its finest cuisines? Whether it's succulent oysters, the humble French fry (which is actually of Belgian origin) or a picture-perfect breakfast spread, models such as Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid flock to the French capital for more than just fashion.
3. Backstage beauty
Angola represent! Model Maria Borges does some DIY curling before the Emporio Armani show — check out our review here.
Former supermodel and French first lady Carla Bruni shows us how overwhelming the press can really get at the technology-inspired Chanel show.
5. Time-out Paris
Liu Wen, Imaan Hammam (who recently celebrated her 20th birthday) and Sara Sampaio took some time out from their busy schedules to enjoy the best of Paris — by both day and night.
6. Burn, baby, burn
Check out who Singaporean model Sheila Sim bumped into at the Chanel show. Jealous!
7. Kendall and Anwar shack up
Well, not really. But the duo did spark some fires after they both posted this image onto their respective Instagrams. Anwar Hadid's the youngest of the Hadids and is an aspiring model.
8. Empathy, please
Probably the biggest celebrity news of the week was the robbing of Kim Kardashian. At gunpoint. Pretty scary if you ask us, although some didn't quite share the empathy. Other celebrities were quick to defend her.
Sorry? I can't object to her naked selfies but also feel sorry for her being robbed at gunpoint? Stop being ridiculous. https://t.co/r0hIqQzP8l— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 3, 2016
People making jokes about @KimKardashian tonight would do well to remember that she's a mother,a daughter,a wife,a friend.Be nice or shut up— James Corden (@JKCorden) October 3, 2016
9. We're with Kim
Robbery ain't pretty and we sure don't wish it upon anyone. Caitlyn Jenner and Miroslava Duma were quick to take their stand and support the Kardashian.
10. Louis Vuitton's best girls
Nicolas Ghesquière brought out his best "gal-pals" at the Louis Vuitton show: Adèle Exarchopoulos, Alicia Vikander, Léa Seydoux, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly and Miranda Kerr.
