Jazz-lovers, it's time to mark your calendars for March 2016.

The Singapore International Jazz Festival (affectionately known as Sing Jazz) is back with a lineup that includes Grammy royalty Joss Stone (armed with her new album, Water For Your Soul) as well as homegrown favourite Charlie Lim — the latter will play a sunset session that's not to be missed. Hiatus Kaiyote will bring their neo-soul sounds to our shores, while veterans Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club make us one of the last stops on their final tour. Also look out for a performance by one of the pioneers of jazz in Singapore, Jeremy Monteiro himself.

Even club kids will get excited: Singapore-based DJ collective Darker Than Wax are in charge of the opening night festivities, with co-founder Dean Chew sharing that their sphere of influence isn't just limited to clubbing culture and music — jazz, blues and soul also hold strong roots. Go get your groove on.

The Singapore International Jazz Festival will be held from 4 to 6 March at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets on sale now at Event Clique.
