Premiering tomorrow: iNCH's music video, Mousedeer, directed by The Sam Willows' Sandra Riley Tang
Tomorrow, Singapore musicians iNCH and Sandra Riley Tang will make their debuts as the first local musicians to premiere a music video on MTV Asia, with The Sam Willows' Tang in the director's chair

You've already fallen in love with iNCH's (real name: Inch Chua) single, Mousedeer — which is also her spirit animal during the local musician's time at Pulau Ubin — now it's time to crush hard on its music video. The lead single off her seven-track album Letters to Ubin, Mousedeer's accompanying music video also features Sandra Riley Tang in her directorial debut.

While Tang and Chua have known each other personally, this creative collaboration was sparked off by the video's director of photography, Benjamin Ong. Ong has worked extensively with The Sam Willows, where Tang forms one quarter of the hugely successful pop-folk band.

"iNCH is a true artiste, from her music to performing live on stage to performing on screen," Tang shares. "If I asked her to roll around in mud, or be covered in live insects for the shot, I'm pretty sure she would have done it."

Watch iNCH's music video for Mousedeer on MTV Asia when it premieres on 19 June hereMousedeer will also be released on iNCH's YouTube channel on 2o June here.
