Zouk and Cé La Vi remain in the top 100 best clubs of the world by DJ Mag with their highest rank to date
What a way to put Singapore on the map yet again. While our cosmopolitan hasn't exactly been known as a party capital that can rival that of Hong Kong or Bangkok, we're a small unit that punches above our weight - evident in the recently released rankings of DJ Mag's top 100 clubs in the world. Up two places from last year, Zouk sits comfortably at fourth place, one of two Asian sensations in the top five. The other is Seoul’s Octagon, which remains in fifth place. Meanwhile, Zouk's Kuala Lumpur counterpart, Zouk KL, makes it to number 21, climbing five spots from last year.
Perched high on the pedestal, Cé La Vi isn't just a place to take the quintessential Singapore city shot. While it's a relative newcomer when compared to Zouk, it's profile is steadily rising by clinching DJ Mag's 80th spot, up a whopping 10 from last year. With a proposed revamp up their sleeves in terms of design and programming, Cé La Vi is poised for greater things to come.
