The X Factor Australia contestant with Singapore roots gave an incredible cover of Beyoncé's If I Were A Boy at the tender age of 13
Natalie Ong's been the name on everyone's lips in Singapore. The 15-year-old singer and contestant on X Factor Australia has just moved to the top three of the Under-22s category in the talent competition, wowing judges with her rendition of Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind. While the competition is being held in Sydney, Ong caught the eyes on the equator because of a Singapore connection: She was born in Singapore before moving to Australia when she was just a toddler.
You've already fallen head over heels for Nathan Hartono earlier this month, but now's the time to pass on that baton to Ong and her incredible pipes. Just watch it for yourself as she gives Beyoncé a run for her money at an open mic event when she was just 13 years old.
