You must have heard the buzz by now — singer-songwriter Inch Chua (also known as iNCH) famously spent four months in Pulau Ubin, met a mouse deer (among other adventures), and the rest was history. Her fourth solo release, Letters To Ubin, launched last month at a sold-out gig at Aliwal Arts Centre, which drew in guest appearances from the likes of Dru Chen, Narelle Kheng and Michaela Therese. To tie in with her album's theme, Chua even roped in a bartender who crafted tipples with ingredients handpicked from Pulau Ubin itself.
But on a smaller arena — the backseat of the new Volvo XC90 D5 Inscription — we had other ideas. With the festive season well under way, we find out whether the crooner's an inner Grinch or Santa and what her all-time favourite Christmas song is. The ultimate bonus? We squeezed her friends — comprising House of Riot manager Sarah Sim, producer Evan Low and drummer Ritz Ang — on board for a special mash-up with toy instruments and Chua's Pineapple soprano ukulele.
