Sexy. Sensual. Smooth. If you remember the early days of indie radio station Lush 99.5FM, we tip our hats and raise our glasses (or to-go coffee cups) to you. Since its inception in 2005, the radio station has grown to become the go-to place to discover music, apart from other channels such as Last.fm, Spotify, and good old Youtube. Personally, if I had a penny for the number of times I've used my Shazam app whenever Lush was on, I'll be so rich, it's filthy.

Here at Buro, we love the station for its local loyalty programme, if we could call it that. They were the first folks to play hits from Charlie Lim, The Sam Willows and Gayle Nerva, and regularly show their love to local artists in their Artist of the Month series — this September, it's Deon with his second album, Oceans.

Props to them as well for promoting World Bacon Day on their Facebook page, for who doesn't love the food's sweet, salty, crisp goodness. If you still want the guys at Lush 99.5fm to bring home the bacon, proclaim it loud and proud: #iListentoLush.
