It's the necessary evil you keep coming back to time and again. The powers of Instagram are unstoppable, what with "social media influencers" and "key opinion leaders" bringing home the bacon based on their number of followers alone. Of course, some of the lot are actually pretty talented, and this social media tool has catapulted careers and turned struggling nobodies to model magnates. And while it was hip to be square, its new portrait and landscape functions are paving the way for aspiring Instagram stars to mix it up.
Enter Sophia Loren, who, accolades aside, still doesn't have an Instagram account. Sure, the 80-year old Italian has an Oscar, a Grammy and has been crowned one of cinema's most iconic sex symbol — but heads up, Sophia, you aren't someone till you've reached that one million follower mark. To give her a headstart, here are some #ThrowbackThursdays we suggest.
