Floral boot camps are a thing now
So you've decked out your wardrobe in the latest Fall/Winter 2015 staples — now's your chance to dress up your home in autumnal flowers.
Taking their love of floristry in a boot camp like no other, Shop Wonderland have come together with the likes of Fox and Rabbit, Heaven in a Wild Flower, Floral Magic and The Paper Bunny to present a two-day workshop for all you flower enthusiasts who wish to learn about more than just flower arranging.
Bringing together the who's who of floristry in Singapore, you'll learn from industry insiders Josephine Lau of the 15-year-old Floral Magic and Melissa Wang of Shop Wonderland. The Paper Bunny's Jaime Lee is also on hand to answer to any social media queries — you'd want to trust the woman who has more than 38,000 followers and counting.
While most floristry classes last for a few hours or half a day, the Floral Boot Camp takes you on an immersive tour of all aspects of running a florist business: From its roots on growing your business, how to manage social media and of course, how to arrange a bitchin' set of flowers. You'll even learn how to do a ceiling installation for a DIY wedding, thanks to Aussie-based florist Fox and Rabbit.
Of course, the camp ends with a Kinfolk-inspired dinner — as it should — with your creations taking centre stage.
The Floral Boot Camp will be held on 24 and 25 November. To sign up, click here.
