While some call her quirky or even unconventional, there is no denying the beauty or star power of Cara Delevingne. Turning 23 today (Happy Birthday Cara!), it seems like we are set to see more of her, and we are certainly not complaining. We count down the five times that make us wish we were Miss Cara Delevingne.
1. Singing with Pharrell Williams for Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel campaign
The collaboration with the singer-songwriter was an unexpected pairing that showcased another of Cara's many talents. In the creative world of Karl Lagerfeld, nothing is impossible or too far fetched. Cue: Cara and Pharrell dancing in a room set in the 19th century. Add in a dash of Hollywood royalty with Geraldine Chaplin, the daughter of Charlie Chaplin, and you have a perfect blend of elegance and nostalgia.
2. Beatboxing on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
If her chameleon like talents weren't apparent before, her skills in freestyle beatboxing in front of a live audience certainly made it clear. True to her nature, she performed with little hesitation and even impressed the band.
3. When she was cast in the Suicide Squad
With a role called "Enchantress" it's not difficult to see Cara fitting into character with ease, after all, she has already enchanted millions of fans with her down-to-earth quirkiness. The second major studio film under her belt is the action movie by DC comics where she shares the screen with Oscar winners Will Smith and Jared Leto. Due out in 2016, Cara is one of the many big names to be a part of the highly anticipated film.
4. Modeling with Kate Moss for Burberry
Don't you love it when you get to work with friends? Pairing the current It Girl with the ever-so-stylish Kate Moss for the My Burberry Fragrance Campaign was not just a stroke of genius, but looked like a lot of fun considering that the models are close pals in real life.
5. When she was the inspiration for a special edition of TAG Heuer's Carrera collection
As brand ambassador, Cara is the face behind the piece that reflects her personality and style. Laidback and masculine, with the perfect touch of femininity, the watch also showcases a lion on the back casing, a nod to Cara's star sign. You're gonna hear her roar-or-or-or-or... (Had to be done.)
