BoConcept's interior stylist, Rou Ying, shares three key tips to make your living space look bigger ahead of BoConcept's Mini Home Fair
Tip #1: Figure out your lifestyle needs "A small space does not have to compromise your lifestyle. Think of how you would like to utilise your space and work your interior plan around it by blurring the boundaries to fully maximise the area. An open concept makes affording a large sofa in a compact living room possible by creating an inviting atmosphere."
Tip #2: Utilise wall mounting units for added space "Create an illusion of a spacious and clutter-free space by using floating units. Not only does it free up the floor space, it allows for additional storage space. Go creative with the display and let it reflect your personal style."
Tip #3: Keep to a neutral colour palette "Clean and bare colours add freshness to an otherwise old space by injecting brightness and instantly opens up the living area. The goal is to keep it simple. Avoid having more than three colours in a given space."
