Taylor Swift debuts an edgy, new look in her latest music video
In case you haven't heard, Taylor Swift is set to release her new album, Reputation in November. Check out the surprising nail look that she debuted in a sneak cut of her first video

Taylor Swift is a lot of things, but good girl gone bad may be her latest incarnation. The 27-year old singer songwriter recently announced on her Instagram that she will be releasing her latest album Reputation on 10 November and will also be debuting her music video for the first single, 'Look What you Made me Do' at the MTV Video Music Awards held on the 28 August (Singapore time). We're not fans of Swift or her music, but we couldn't help but notice some details in the sneak trailer she released on her Instagram that raised an eyebrow.

Although all we got were brief glimpses of Swift in the video, we saw enough to note that she has undergone a 360° when it comes to her nails. Granted no one really notices her usual, vanilla styles, but this time, she's gone for the full-on talon manicure — perhaps fitting with her new, self-declared snake persona. The video shows her rocking both gold and cherry red, long, pointed nails that you might expect from her arch-nemesis Kim Kardashian or even Rihanna, but not from Tay-Tay. Other looks sported (and spotted) in the short clip, included pin-up girl curls with classic red lips, and super-edgy wet-look locks teamed with serious teal liner and blackened plum lips. Shots from her Instagram that advertise a magazine that will be sold at Target stores also shows her in shorts, thigh-high boots and a beauty look that can best be described as Brigitte Bardot meets Françoise Hardy. Someone's styling and hair and makeup team has certainly been pushing the pop princess to more daring looks, and we can't hardly wait to see more edge, less beige.
