Couture touch: Rouge Dior unveiled with Natalie Portman
Cue the next phase of revolution for Dior makeup — Rouge Dior has been redeveloped to include all-new hues and textures. Fronted once again by Dior it-girl Natalie Portman, the campaign exudes undeniable confidence and sensuality — exactly what you’d expect from a daub of the new Rouge Dior.
“I created this Rouge Dior collection so women can choose and change shades to express themselves,” says Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior Makeup. Sporting an obelisk-shaped cap, the limited edition lipstick features a brand new design that sits delicately in the hand, making it a truly covetable addition to your makeup collection. For that extra touch of luxury, the interior of each cap is veneered in Dior’s signature shade, Rouge 999.
The range offers have-to-have shades, from lightly transgressive, to beautifully bold. Below, are the four finishes in their various offerings.
Dressing the lips in a radiant satin finish, these couture satin lippies are imbued with lip care, leaving your lips feeling good. Swatch one of these babies on for a tinge of elegance.
The matte lip trend is still in full swing, and Dior is capitalising it with a whole lot of edge. An update from its historic satin-finish, this new ultra-matte texture still has Dior’s promise of 16-hour comfort.
For that unfaltering pigment, you’ll need perfect lips. The Rouge Dior formula pampers and smooths the lips to bring out the vibrancy of each shade of red. Its secret? Hyaluronic acid spheres help plump and moisturise the lips, while sea fennel extract boosts cellular renewal.
Feeling a little more playful? Rouge Dior’s got that covered, too. In sunny shades of peach, clover, lavender and emerald, these signal a cosmetic innovation like no other.
