It comes as no surprise that the new Marc Jacobs perfume is inspired by the sophisticated and elegant woman, with an all-telling name like Decadence. "I like the idea of that extrovert, that show-off, and I like the things that symbolise her – whether it's the beads or the feathers or the sequins."

While Jacobs succintly sums up the muse of his new scent, it seems only befitting that the fragrance campaign is fronted by Victoria's Secret angel Adriana Lima, who embodies its essence to a T. The campaign is shot by Steven Meisel who captures Lima oozing just the right amount of sex appeal.

The direction of the new scent translates to the flacon that houses the offering as well – shaped like a bag with a faux snakeskin flap, complete with a gold chain and tassel to match the opulent note of the scent that has a vetiver, liquid amber and papyrus woods drydown.  

As previous perfumes from Jacobs include Daisy, a youthful and girly scent, and Lola, a quirkier offering for the atypical woman, Decadence is set to be the signature scent for the sophisticated and elegant Marc Jacobs woman.
