Kristen Stewart is the new face of Chanel makeup
It's no secret that Chanel loves Kristen Stewart... and the feeling is mutual. The cool and magnetic beauty is best known for her portrayal of Bella in the Twilight series, and has already done several campaigns with the brand. She was the face of the 2013 Paris-Dallas 2013/14 Métiers d'art collection and is also the face of the Paris in Rome 2015/16 Métiers d'art collection advertising campaign that will be unveiled in May this year. Stewart can also often be seen front and centre at the house's fashion shows, and starred in the short film Once and Forever — directed by Karl Lagerfeld — as the great Coco Chanel herself.
As of late, Stewart has reinvented herself as a serious actress having won the prestigious César Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Clouds of Sils Maria. And it seems the American is in hot demand career-wise, as future projects include Personal Shopper by French director Olivier Assayas, Ang Lee's Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, and an as-yet-untitled Woody Allen project.
On camera, the actress' delicate symmetry and insouciance certainly comes across in the black-and-white portrait by Mario Testino for the new Chanel Eyes campaign out in March this year. She brings an edginess to the brand, whose past beauty ambassadors have included Keira Knightley and Gisele Bündchen. In the image, she sports a perfect brow and sexy, smoky eye. Wondering what eye makeup she's wearing? Stewart is wearing the La Palette Sourcils de Chanel in 50 Brun on her brows, the Les 4 Ombres in 272 Tissé Dimensions and Stylo Eyeshadow in 167 Bronze Platine on her eyes and the Stylo Yeux Waterproof in 10 Ébène as a liner. The finishing touch? Lashings of Le Volume de Chanel in 10 Noir, for va-va-voom lashes.
