Fancy yourself a dab hand when it comes to beauty? Think you can contour better than Kim Kardashian or that you know the secret to attaining the perfect lob? More importantly, can you put all that down in a video? Well, it's time to put your skills to the test and pit yourself against the best amateur beauty creators that Asia has to offer.

Beauty Bound Asia is a digital search to find an emerging online beauty talent, and who better to serve as mentor and creator of beauty challenges than the original online beauty sensation, Michelle Phan? Phan has over 7.8 million followers on YouTube, over 1.9 million on Instagram, and is a co-founder of ipsy; the world's largest online beauty-focused community. She has even developed her own makeup brand, em cosmetics. If you've always wanted to meet this video queen, she'll be mentoring and judging the finalists in the program finale that will be held in Tokyo on 7 November.

Want to take part? Hurry as the first submission is due on the 25 August. To participate, you have to be over 21 and a legal resident of one of these 11 cities: Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka, Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, and Sydney.

And if you want to brush up on your beauty know-how, check out the YouTube workshops that'll be posted online. Like So You Think You Can Dance and The Voice, beauty experts from around Asia will be mentoring the finalists and helping them fine tune their beauty skills.
