First look: Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder makeup collection
Victoria Beckham's limited edition makeup collection with Estée Lauder has been unveiled and it doesn't disappoint. Says Beckham, "I want to make women feel empowered, to feel sexy and confident. This makeup collection does that. I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves." And if you're tired of ho-hum makeup collaborations that essentially bring nothing new to the table, we have good news. The press release says the collection is "Sexy, cool with a bit of rawness and edge. Meant to be worn smudgy with the confidence to be imperfect."
Says Beckham, "I have been collecting makeup for many years. I am always mixing colours to get what I want. With this collection, I believe I have created many of the key pieces that you really need in your makeup kit. As a woman who likes to wear makeup, this is exactly what I want. Now I am excited to share it with women everywhere." Standout products for us include the Morning Aura Illuminating Creme which is part moisturiser, part brightening primer for dewy, fresh skin and the Highlighter in Modern Mercury for that sweaty-sexy complexion you often see on Beckham herself and on the runways — you know the look we're talking about.
The brand has also created Eye Foils to deliver an intense, vinyl-like shine to the eyes for a liquid metal-like effect. Also included in the pretty extensive collection are the eye products needed for her signature smoky look — eye ink, eye shadows, a palette as well as kajal liners. Beckham goes to extremes with her lip looks, offering up a soft nude and an intense and fiery orange-red lipstick. Also part of the line-up? A lip pencil called Victoria that is a signature nude-matte. Use it as a liner or as a full-on lipstick to imitate the look of Beckham's pout.
