L’Occitane and Pierre Hermé collaborate on an inspired new collection
Who would have thought that pastry maestro Pierre Hermé would have a hand in the new holiday collection by L'Occitane. Then again, both use their respective crafts to invoke a sense of desire and pleasure albeit in different ways.
With the help of natural ingredients, the festive mood is elevated in three limited edition scents. Each, is said to be a reflection of the chef himself and hold the secrets of Provence and its harvests close. The brains behind Haute Pâtisserie, brings us an interesting mix with the Jasmine Immortelle Neroli, Pamplemousse Rhubabe and Meil Mandarine collections.
For the lover of pure pleasure, the unuual blend of jasmine, immortelle and neroli is a rich creation to include in your daily body care routine. In a case of opposites attract, the floral and feminine scent is light yet retain a sensual richness.
With the Pamplemousse Rhubarbe, Pierre Hermé's touch shines through with a delicious mix of rhubarb, clove, nutmeg and grapefruit. Taking its inspiration from the island of Corsica, the scent is fresh, vibrant yet so delightfully mischievous.
The final scent, like the dessert to cap off a satisfying meal, is the Miel Mandarine. Using mandarin orange, honey and the immortelle flower, it is a perfect way to ring in the festive season. The Jasmine Immortelle Neroli and the Pamplemousse Rhubarbe are available in a shower gel, body lotion, perfumed soap, hand cream and lip balm while the Miel Mandarine is available in a lip balm and hand cream.
The Pierre Hermé Holiday Collection will be available at all L'Occitane stores from November
