Christy and Edward burn with passion in their latest Calvin Klein Intense Eternity Campaign
Bound for eternity
When we first saw Calvin Klein’s Eternity Intense campaign, we were reminded of original campaign shot of supermodel Christy Turlington in 1989. Film buffs might get the immediate reference — the shot of the couple embracing on the shore amdist waves is an almost exact recreation of an iconic love scene from the 1953 movie From Here to Eternity. Fast forward 28 years later, and the gorgeous Turlington's still got it. For not the first time, she is accompanied by her real-life husband, actor-director Edwards Burns for a Calvin Klein fragrance, and we like that is gives the campaign a certain realism. Burns and Turlington have after all been married for 14 years and have two kids together. Reflective of the real intimacy the Burns share as a couple, this makes the campaign a relatable one, at least for us.
Reinterpreting the design of the legendary Eternity Calvin Klein bottles, the Eternity Intense for women comes in a beautiful sensual crimson gradation bottle, elevating the experience of the fragrance to new levels of intensity. Imbued with an energetic burst of aquatic floral notes, this fragrance reflects a deepened sense of femininity and elegance. Albeit a subtle scent, it still packs a punch with a sensual, rare, orris note, rendering an overall impression of desire and lasting passions.
Perforated with a base of cedarwood, the new Eternity Intense Calvin Klein for men is intoxicatingly sexy. It's the kind of fragrance that makes you want to bury your face into it and nuzzle closer. The orris note also makes an appearance in the men's version. revealing a powdery richness that elevates the overall strength of the fragrance. Adding a twist of freshness is a modern touch of bergamot. His and hers scents have never been sexier.
