Start your Clé de Peau Beauté luxury weekend with this perfect brunch look
Weekends are time for a languid brunches, shopping and catching up with friends. What it's not time for? Too much makeup and a complicated or time-consuming routine. Trying out the new Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Stick Foundation, Victoria Cheng demonstrates the application method that makes this a cinch to put one even when you're on-the-go. Says Cheng, "I love this foundation. The texure is sheer, soft and fluid and is so easy to apply." The other colours used in this tutorial are also a breeze to put on, and can even be done so with your fingers, if you're in a rush or don't have your tools with you.
STEP 1: Apply the Radiant Stick Foundation in three circular motion on the cheeks, and two motions each on the forehead and chin. This particular application method will help camouflage your pores better. You'll be amazed at how the stick foundation magically transforms into a lightweight, liquid texture. Says Victoria, "Sometimes I'll mix moisturiser with my liquid foundation — but with the Radiant Stick Foundation, I don't need to do this because it's already so velvety and light."
STEP 2: Next, just pat the foundation in with your fingers to blend it in. Or use a foundation brush if you prefer.
STEP 3: Add more foundation to areas of concern. Notice how it gives the complexion a radiant, dewy finish?
STEP 4: Because this foundation offers to sheer to medium coverage, if you need a bit more cover on your spots or undereye area, apply some of the brand's award-winning Concealer on these marks and blemishes. Use either a concealer brush or your fingers to blend it in for a skin-like finish.
STEP 5: Keep the eyes simple but chic with the dual-tones of the new Eye Color Duo. The lighter shade has slightly more shimmer and can be applied on the entire lid, while the more intense shade is perfect for accentuating the crease.
STEP 6: Want a healthy, but barely-discernible flush? The new Cream Blush comes in four, fresh shades for natural and buildable colour on the cheeks. Use the Blusher Brush for a super professional finish, or dot on and blend with your fingers if you want something more fuss-free.
STEP 7: Finally complete the look with a quick swipe of the Enriched Lip Luminizer. This lustrous and rich lipstick is super-hydrating and easy to touch up after a meal. While it perks up the lips with a punch of colour, the sheer formula allows some of your natural lip hue to show through. Want to add some dimension? Follow Victoria's tip, "After putting on lipstick, I like to dab a lighter, glossier color in the center of my bottom lip to add some pop."
THE FINAL LOOK
When she's done, Victoria's makeup looks effortlessly radiant. Her skin has a natural glow but she still looks fresh-faced and ready to take on the weekend.
