An uncomplicated beauty: Alicia Pan and Chanel
We admit to having a case of life envy when we recently followed Alicia Pan around to experience her typical day. From practising yoga and running the business-side of her own Yoga Movement group of studios (four outlets and counting) to recording and performing her own music, Pan is a woman who follows her life's passions with verve.
When it comes to makeup, the very busy Pan prefers a fuss-free and uncomplicated routine. Not a foundation user, she began to try Chanel Les Beiges foundation after being introduced to it, and now uses it for special occasions. Other indispensable items in her beauty arsenal are mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick.
Find out which particular Chanel Beauty products she loves.
1. Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation in B40
"I never knew how to use foundation before. But now that I have found the right colour, I just blend it in with my fingers and then finish off with a sponge. It mattifies my complexion and really makes it look even in photos."
2. Le Volume de Chanel Waterproof in 10 Noir
"It's hard to find a mascara that works for me, because while I have long lashes they are quite sparse. This really helps to thicken my lashes and give them volume, so I use it every day."
3. Rouge Allure Velvet in 38 La Fascinante
"I love this colour. It's really difficult to find the right shade of red for my tanned complexion. I look for softer, brownish-red hues."
