Watch this face: A look at the new generation of IT girls
A case of nepotism or just good genes? With the next generation of beauties representing big name brands like Chanel and Marc Jacobs, these pretty faces have definitely gotten our attention

When two incredibly beautiful, incredibly charismatic celebrities have a child together, it is as if the world holds its breath, waiting to see what this star-in-the-making will become. It must be hard being thrust into a fame you didn't choose, growing up in the glare of limelight and public scrutiny. The daughters of some of the biggest names in showbiz that we feature below have borne their high-profile lives with a maturity that belies their young age. Now they are all making waves of their own, cultivating a social medial following and generating a buzz to rival that of their parents. Given fashion's current predilection for big names, big personalities and big influencers over unknowns, it's unsurprising all the major houses are clamouring to sign this new raft of beauties for both beauty and fashion campaigns.

Iris Law
The daughter of raven-haired actress and socialite Sadie Frost and heartthrob Jude Law, was destined for modelling. At just 16 years of age, her career is already gaining momentum, and her Instagram following of 57.5k is rising by the day. This year Law was named Burberry's Global Beauty Ambassador with her first campaign for the new Liquid Lip Velvet capturing her low-key, cool-Brit vibe perfectly.

Lily-Rose Depp
Her mum is the French singer Vanessa Paradis, her dad is the Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp. Depp is the embodiment of the modern muse — transatlantic drawl and American edginess tempered by her inherent Parisian chic. At 17, she is already a staple at the Chanel shows and the face of the new fragrance, Chanel No. 5 L'Eau.

Paris Jackson
Karl Lagerfeld certainly knows the power of an IT girl. Lily-Rose Depp has been joined by the outspoken and philosophical Willow Smith, and most recently, Paris Jackson. Daughter of the late Michael Jackson, the younger Jackson is a descendant of music royalty and her social currency is very valuable indeed. The lesser-spotted 18 year old is soon to be everywhere thanks to Chanel's new hush-hush campaign.

Kaia Gerber
Gerber looks uncannily like her supermodel mum, Cindy Crawford. So much so, a meteoric rise up the modelling ranks seems inevitable. At 15, Kaia has already fronted covers for Pop, Love and Vogue, has a whopping 1 million followers on Instagram and a beauty campaign for Marc Jacobs under her belt. Talk about accomplished!

Frances Bean Cobain
Also joining the Marc Jacobs pack is the rock-chick daughter of Courtney Love and the late music icon Kurt Cobain. Cobain is fronting the new SS17 campaign. Her dark hair, piercing blue eyes and apathetic pout imbues the collection of doll-like tea dresses and saddle bags with a sense of grungey cool and her undeniable street cred. After all, she's literally the daughter of grunge.

Lourdes Leon
Madonna's daughter has inherited her mother's good looks and commanding presence. She is regularly snapped for her model-off-duty street style, is the darling of the front row, face of her own label Material Girl and now leading a perfume campaign for Stella McCartney. And you've got to love Leon's brows that can rival even Cara Delevingne's.
