#TopDrawerTuesday: French pharmacy essentials
Vive la France
We love beauty shopping as much as the next person. Set us loose in any French pharmacy and we may never leave. Not only is there a staggering range of effective skin, body and hair care treats, its affordability will have you filling your basket to the brim. (Hey, even Karlie Kloss is a fan!) While we can't simply hop on a plane and visit Paris at the drop of a hat, we're happy that we can enjoy a good selection in Singapore. Her's our picks from what's available here.
Bioderma Sensibio h2o, $42.90
Don't let the clear liquid fool you. This powerful makeup remover is fragrance-free and also cleanses and soothes skin — no stinging eyes when you remove your mascara and liner. Suitable for those with sensitive and reactive skin, it is one of the fastest growing French pharmacy brands on an international level.
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5, $21.90
This is so gentle, it can be used on infants and adults alike. This soothing balm can be applied to the body, face and lips, while the fragrance-free skincare solution is also suitable for those with skin conditions such as irritative dermatitis.
Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray, $10.10
Essentially healing spring water in a little canister, this can be used for just about anything. Soothe skin after hair removal, calm it down post-exercise, or simply cool down on a hot day.
Klorane Dry Shampoo, $14.60
In just two minutes, this oat milk-infused spray revives limp hair and absorbs excess oil. For smooth and bouncy hair in minutes, this dry shampoo gets the Buro seal of approval. Plus the botanical formula works for different scalps.
Nuxe Réve de Miel Balm
The beeswax-based lip balm, is so popular, that one is said to be sold every 28 seconds. Smooth and long-lasting, the vitamin E infused balm, leaves lips with a matte finish, so you can let it work its magic as you layer on your favourite shade of lipstick.
