New Revlon ambassador Ciara's 5 best beauty looks
In the glamour zone
Admittedly R&B singer Ciara has not been in the spotlight as much as the Queen Bey, these past 15 years, but the hardworking songstress has just scored a major coup as the newest face of Revlon, joining actresses Olivia Wilde and Halle Berry. Says Ciara, "I’ve been a fan of the iconic Revlon brand my entire life. In fact, my name comes from the Revlon Ciara fragrance. It was a gift given to my mother from my father, and she fell in love with the scent and the name.” The beautiful singer, who is also known for her enviable, muscled build and athletic dance routines, has been impressing us with her innovative hair and clean makeup looks. Here are five of our favourite moments.
WHEN SHE WENT ALL ROMANTIC
Love the soft, centre part and flowing, blonde locks that she sported at the CFDA Awards 2016. With skin (and cheekbones) this gorgeous, strong brows and flirty lashes are all the makeup you need.
WHEN SHE SLEEKED IT UP
At the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015, Ciara stood out in a sea of overdone, lookalike celebrities with her simple eyeliner and Posh Spice-inspired bob.
WHEN SHE PLAYED IT YOUNG... BUT PULLED IT OFF
At the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in 2016, Ciara's child-like, double buns paired with grown-up, bright red lipstick looked suitably fresh and playful.
WHEN SHE TOOK THE ELEGANT ROUTE
Silver finger waves? Why not when you're this stunning? This was a great mash up of Judy Jetson meets a flapper from the '20s, that certainly met the theme of this year's Met Gala.
WHEN SHE DID CASUAL PERFECTLY
Ciara wears her honeyed blonde locks well — the hue is the perfect tone for her complexion and the warm, nude makeup she often sports. Thumbs up for this concealed fishtail braid, that's equal part street and sweet.
