Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay's next drop is here
Gwen Stefani has always been synonymous with makeup and rocking a variety of looks. But she's always remembered for her signature red lips, platinum blonde hair and bold brows. While Urban Decay can't help you with getting that hair, they do have even more makeup products that will entice and delight both makeup junkies and Stefani fangirls who adore her brand of old world glamour.
First up, what's a Gwen Stefani makeup look without some bright, bold and beautiful kissers? Although we personally loved the neutral shades in her eyeshadow palette, those hankering after more outstanding shades will not be disappointed with the eight hues in this first lip collection. In finishes ranging from sheer to cream to mega matte, these lippies come packaged in luxe gold and black striped casing. Our personal favourite shades? Ex-Girlfriend, a sheer nude-rose with pink shimmer, Firebird a deep fuchsia cream and Rock Steady, a deep wine cream. Also worth a mention, 714, a bright red mega matte that will give you the kind of look-at-me lips you see on the red carpet and on runways. The lip collection also includes a selection of six 24/7 Lip Pencils designed to pair with the lipsticks and prime the lips.
Stefani was so in love with the brand's Brow Box that she asked for one to be made in a blonde hue. The result? Bathwater Blonde, a dark blonde and light blonde duo in an adorable, tiny box, that also contains setting wax, miniature tweezers and two angled brushes. The icing on the cake? The box comes in the line's signature dotted packaging.
Finally, while Urban Decay is known for its collectible eyeshadow palettes, this time round the brand has created a Blush Palette to mimic Stefani's glowing, contoured skin. Filled with six shades, the palette has all the colours you need for bronzing, sculpting and creating a natural flush on the cheeks. Although this doesn't come with a brush, we like that it allows us to play with different shades to create dimension and depth.
From $32-$85. At Urban Decay stores and Sephora outlets from March
